What Happened To Egypt Against USA?

Hi guys, how are you enjoying the confederations cup currently holding in South Africa.
For me, its a bit of an anti-climax seeing Egypt bundled out by unfancied USA. I enjoyed seeing the Egyptians play their first 2 matches, but the last match against the Americans, i don't know what happened. They only needed a draw, but how did they end up losing by 3 goals. Even a lone goal defeat would still have been enough to see them through.
Well, i guess in football, as in every other sport, the more hungrier team wins.
Now we have the semi-final starting tomorrow, can the host get past Brazil or will USA upset Spain?
